Day 2: Bergen
Begin a half-day tour this morning at the colorful Fish Market before strolling along the Bryggen, the Hanseatic wharf area, to the 13th-century Bergen Fortress. Visit the Hanseatic Museum, located in one of the old trade houses, featuring interiors from the 18th and 19th centuries. From there, head to Troldhaugen, the former home of composer Edvard Grieg. Take the Fløibanen funicular to the top of Mount Floyen to enjoy an excellent panoramic view of the city, sea and mountainous terrain around Bergen. This afternoon is at leisure to relax or continue exploring on your own.

Day 3: Bergen/Sognefjord/Flåm/Bergen
Head out to the Bergen pier, where you board the express ferry bound for Flåm. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery as you cruise along the famous Sognefjord. When you arrive in Flåm you have time at leisure before boarding the renowned Flåm Railway train to Myrdal. During your short rail journey you climb 2,850 feet up a steep mountain gorge where you are rewarded with spectacular views of the fjords, waterfalls and mountainous forests below. Once at Myrdal, connect with the modern express train, returning to Bergen in comfortable first class.
