The Experience
The historic city of Cusco lies nestled in the Andes, on top of the world, at more than 11,000 feet above sea level. Belmond Hotel Monasterio stands in the historical center of this city, only two blocks away from the Plaza de Armas, or central square, and a few short blocks from the city’s most interesting museums.
Relive the days and nights of seventeenth century colonial times in the ancient Seminary of San Antonio Abad. The more than 300-year old premises, now converted into Hotel Monasterio, provide visitors with the unrivalled quality of a five-star hotel, while at the same time offering a unique encounter with Cusco’s Inca and Spanish tradition.
