Discover one of Switzerland’s most scenic stretches on a private journey to the city of Lucerne. See the Old Town Hall and medieval Hofkirche, and then venture to Mount Pilatus, with its flowered fields and flowing streams. Day 1: Zurich/Lucerne
On arrival at Zurich,™s airport you are met and transferred by private vehicle to your hotel in Lucerne where your Guardian Angel assists with check-in.

Day 2: Lucerne
Embark on a walking tour with your local guide, stopping to see the Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall); the Hofkirche, which was first part of a monastery founded in 750; and the celebrated Glacier Gardens. Afterward, take a relaxing boat cruise on the lake. In your free time, you might want to stroll along the lake shore, stopping off at a terrace to take in the views. Alternatively, you may wish to visit one of its museums. The Rosengart Collection houses many works by classic Modernist artists, including over 100 works by Paul Klee and some 50 by Pablo Picasso. The Swiss Transport Museum shows the development and technical progress of all forms of transport on land, water and in the air, including how the many tunnels through the mountains are dug.

Day 3: Lucerne/Mount Pilatus/Lucerne
Set out for an excursion to Mount Pilatus. Your driver takes you to the station in Alpnachstad from where you and your guide board the world’s steepest cog-wheel railway to Pilatus Kulm. During your journey, see lush meadows with Alpine flowers, mountain streams and fascinating rock faces. Make your way back down the mountain by the aerial gondola. If you like, visit the exhibition at Fräkmüntegg Station that tells the story of the gondola from concept through to completion.
