On arrival at Moscow airport, transfer privately to your hotel, where your Guardian Angel is waiting to assist with check-in. The remainder of today is at leisure for you to relax, enjoy the hotels facilities or start exploring this historic city.

Day 2: The Tsars’ Treasures
Enjoy a full day’s sightseeing, beginning with the Kremlin Territory. For centuries, the Kremlin has been witness to many famous and tragic events in Russia’s past and it is a treasure trove of Russian history. Visit two of the Kremlin’s three cathedrals: Archangel, the royal burial church; Assumption, the burial church of religious leaders; or Annunciation, the royal baptism church. Visit the State Armory and see the dazzling exhibition of the State Diamond Fund, containing the crown jewels used in coronations right up to that of Nicholas II in 1896. After lunch at leisure, continue with a visit to Red Square. Walk through the square to St. Basil’s Cathedral, a colorful multi-domed complex whose architects were supposedly blinded by Ivan the Terrible so that they could never recreate such splendor again. Continue to the Novodevichy Convent and Memorial cemetery, where such illustrious Russians as Chekhov, Khrushchev and Yeltsin are buried. Return to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

Day 3: Tretyakov Gallery
This morning you may choose to visit the Tretyakov Gallery, containing more than a thousand years’ worth of treasures created by the Russian people. This afternoon, perhaps shop at the famous GUM Department Store located along Red Square.
