Le Taha’a Island Resort  is nestled on the secluded Motu Tautau islet, facing the lush island of Taha’a on one side and the majestic silhouette of Bora Bora on the other side, the resort, inspired by traditional Polynesian architecture and style, hosts 57 remarkable suites and villas. The island of Taha’a is located in the Society Islands and is directly across the isthmus from the island of Raiatea. Raiatea and has been one of the most important places in the Polynesian migrations throughout the Pacific. It still is an important historical and cultural center.

Taha’a is symbolically called the Vanilla Island, as on these fertile lands some of the best and most fragrant vanilla is grown and sought after by Chefs around the world. Tahitian pearls are also produced in Taha’a pearl farms that are located in the island’s turquoise waters. The island is blessed with lush mountains and valleys, quiet lagoons, virgin “motu” islets. The Vanilla Island has kept this Polynesian flair, and its inhabitants share a way of life that has remained truly authentic. Fishing, vanilla, pearl farms, agriculture and tourism are part of their daily lives.

Taha’a Island Resort & Spa is located on a “motu” islet, a 35-minute boat ride from the Raiatea Airport and a 5-minute boat ride from the village of Tapuamu (free transfers from the resort), on the main island of Taha’a.

Le Taha’a is surrounded by pristine aquamarine waters and is located steps from beautiful coral reefs. You can easily enjoy the teeming sea life by experiencing drift snorkeling that will carry you along the small reef at the edge of the islet right to the heart of the coral garden. This is a divers delight.

The Spa is nestled in a beautiful exotic garden, overlooking the calm resort’s interior laguna and surrounded by bamboo trees.This little haven of peace is a true escape to a world of color, energy and deep well-being.

A wide range of massages as well as body exfoliations and wraps are available. Massages may as well be enjoyed right on the lagoon.

“Monoi”, the sacred traditional Polynesian oil infused from coconuts and flowers is used for most treatments. This gift from earth will feed your imagination, and transport you to be in perfect harmony with nature. A reward for all senses

Activities
Le Taha’a is surrounded by pristine waters and is located steps from an incredible coral garden. You will get up, close and personal with the teeming sea life and the most adventurous ones may experience the drift snorkel that carries you from the small reef at the edge of the islet right to the heart of the coral garden
